Responsibilities
- Design and implement reservoir simulation models to forecast production and optimize recovery strategies
- Analyze well performance data and recommend hydraulic fracturing and completion enhancements
- Lead field development planning for unconventional shale assets
- Prepare reservoir management reports and economic evaluations for stakeholders
- Collaborate with drilling engineers to optimize well placement and design
- mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Stay current with emerging technologies in digital oilfield solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Nexus, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Proven track record in field development planning and optimization
- PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent communication skills for technical presentations
- Experience working with multidisciplinary international teams
