Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight for transportation, water resources, and structural projects
- Develop detailed engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical analysis
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with local codes
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and regulatory agencies
- Implement sustainable design practices and cost optimization strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experiencePE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in transportation, structural, or water resources design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and local permitting processes
- Proven track record of managing projects over $10M
- LEED AP certification preferred
