Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and development of civil engineering projects from concept through to completion.
- Conduct thorough site inspections, soil analysis, and feasibility studies to ensure project viability.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure strict compliance with UK building regulations, health and safety standards (HSE), and environmental legislation.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and tender documents for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, architects, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and graduate staff, fostering a culture of excellence and technical growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (MEng/BEng).
- Chartered Engineer status (ICE, MICE, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in civil infrastructure or structural engineering.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and MS Project.
- Strong understanding of UK building codes (Building Regulations) and planning permissions.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
