Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling programs for unconventional reservoirs using advanced simulation tools
- Lead reservoir characterization studies integrating seismic data and well logs
- Develop production enhancement strategies including hydraulic fracturing and EOR techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure HSE compliance and operational excellence
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior engineers through knowledge-sharing sessions and project reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream operations with major E&P companies
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (PETREL, CMG, or equivalent)
- Strong background in horizontal drilling and multi-stage fracturing
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven track record of optimizing field production by 15%+
- Experience with A&D evaluation and reserves reporting standards
