Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of complex civil engineering projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Manage project lifecycle from conception through construction oversight and final inspection
- Develop detailed engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit BIM tools
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory agencies (TxDOT, FEMA, etc.)
- Conduct site assessments, geotechnical evaluations, and feasibility studies
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure projects
- Expertise in structural analysis, transportation planning, and hydraulic modeling
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and GIS software
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Experience with Houston-area regulations and permitting processes
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and client communication skills
