Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Lead cross-functional teams through all project phases from conception to completion
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local engineering regulations and safety standards
- Prepare detailed technical documentation including cost estimates and feasibility studies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews of deliverables
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable urban development challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expert proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS) and BIM tools
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $5M in value
- Strong understanding of LEED and sustainable design principles
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to municipal boards and stakeholders
