Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Conduct thorough site inspections, soil analysis, and feasibility studies to ensure project viability.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to deliver projects on time and within financial constraints.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate closely with architects, urban planners, and contractors to integrate technical solutions seamlessly.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, cost estimates, and construction documents.
- Mentor and supervise a team of junior engineers and drafters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.S.C.E.) or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in a consulting or construction firm.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of structural mechanics, geotechnical engineering, and hydraulic engineering.
- Exceptional project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
