Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar contracts
- Coordinate with municipal agencies for compliance with local codes and environmental regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews of technical deliverables
- Develop innovative sustainable design solutions incorporating green infrastructure principles
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, proposals, and client presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expertise in structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and transportation planning
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and civil engineering software suites
- Strong understanding of ADA, TCEQ, and FEMA compliance standards
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams on complex infrastructure projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and regulatory compliance
