Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of mechanical components using CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation for performance optimization
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement cost-effective production solutions
- Manage project timelines and deliverables using Agile methodologies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Research and integrate emerging materials and manufacturing technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in product development and manufacturing
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation software
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, DFM, and quality standards (ASME/ISO)
- Experience with additive manufacturing and composite materials
- Proven project management with PMP certification a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
