Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of complex civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and client communications throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, environmental, and geotechnical engineers
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including TxDOT standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews of technical deliverables
- Conduct site investigations and prepare engineering reports for feasibility studies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and structural analysis software
- Demonstrated experience with transportation infrastructure and hydraulic modeling
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to deliver multi-million dollar projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with client-facing experience
- LEED AP certification preferred
