Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of transportation systems, drainage networks, and structural foundations
- Lead project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for $10M+ infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and local municipal regulations
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and geotechnical analysis
- Manage client relationships and coordinate with contractors, architects, and government agencies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable infrastructure challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale municipal projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and FEMA floodplain regulations
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- Exceptional project management and stakeholder communication skills
