Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar contracts
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including architects, environmental specialists, and government agencies
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering standards and regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews to maintain quality assurance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and hydraulic modeling
- Proven track record managing complex projects with budgets exceeding $5M
- Advanced proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and civil engineering software
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated team development experience
