Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil engineering projects including MRT stations, high-rise buildings, and coastal protection systems
- Perform structural analysis using advanced software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS) and ensure compliance with Singapore Building Code and BC 1 requirements
- Manage cross-functional teams of architects, MEP engineers, and contractors throughout project lifecycle
- Conduct site inspections, quality control audits, and resolve technical challenges during construction phases
- Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating green building principles and climate-resilient infrastructure
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents for government approvals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration with the Professional Engineers Board Singapore (PEB)
- Expertise in structural design, geotechnical analysis, and hydraulic modeling
- Proven track record on large-scale Singapore projects with LTA, HDB, or URA experience
- Advanced proficiency in BIM (Revit) and 3D modeling technologies
- Strong knowledge of local regulations including BC 1, SS 532, and CP 5
- Excellent project management skills with PMP certification preferred
