Responsibilities
- Design and optimize advanced mechanical systems for renewable energy applications
- Lead cross-functional teams through product development lifecycle from concept to implementation
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations using industry-standard tools
- Develop detailed technical documentation including CAD models, schematics, and test protocols
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate next-generation mechanical solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes
- Ensure compliance with ASME standards and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Expert proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo) and simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- Strong understanding of materials science, thermodynamics, and structural mechanics
- Proven track record leading complex mechanical engineering projects
- Experience with additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping processes
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and innovation
