Responsibilities
- Lead design and optimization of mechanical systems for electric vehicle platforms
- Develop detailed CAD models and perform finite element analysis (FEA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical and electrical systems
- Design and validate prototypes through rigorous testing protocols
- Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and product quality
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Research emerging materials and technologies to enhance product performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or heavy machinery design
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and CATIA
- Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Experience with thermal and structural analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
