Responsibilities
- Design and optimize offshore drilling programs using advanced reservoir simulation software
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in field development planning and production forecasting
- Analyze geological data to identify new extraction opportunities and enhance recovery rates
- Ensure compliance with API, ISO, and OSHA safety standards for all operations
- Develop cost-effective strategies for hydraulic fracturing and enhanced oil recovery (EOR)
- Present technical solutions to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior engineers through knowledge transfer and best practices implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation tools (Petrel, Eclipse, or similar)
- Deep understanding of offshore drilling technologies and completion techniques
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Proven track record in leading field development projects from conception to execution
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex geological and engineering data
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences
