Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and stormwater management systems
- Perform complex structural analysis using BIM/CAD software and advanced modeling tools
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and compliance with federal/state regulations (TxDOT, FEMA)
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental specialists, and construction managers
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for urban development projects
- Mentor junior engineers and drive innovation in sustainable construction methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS, SWMM)
- Demonstrated expertise in TxDOT design standards and local permitting processes
- Strong project portfolio showcasing complex infrastructure projects valued at $10M+
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials preferred
