Responsibilities
- Design and oversee civil infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, and drainage systems
- Perform site analysis, hydrology studies, and geotechnical assessments
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local regulations
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with contractors/clients
- Develop construction documentation (plans, specs, permits)
- Implement sustainable design practices and BIM technologies
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software
- Strong understanding of TxDOT standards and local permitting processes
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure and land development projects
- Proven leadership in managing complex engineering teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- LEED AP or similar sustainability certification preferred
