Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local engineering standards (TxDOT, FEMA)
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies for new development projects
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external stakeholders (municipalities, contractors)
- Develop innovative sustainable solutions for urban infrastructure challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience with infrastructure projects
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expert proficiency in CAD/BIM software and engineering analysis tools
- Proven track record managing projects over $5M in value
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and local permitting processes
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience with sustainable design practices (LEED certification a plus)
