Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including bridges, transit systems, and public works
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with NYC building codes and regulations
- Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders for seamless project delivery
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative team environments
- Develop sustainable design solutions meeting LEED and NYC Local Law 97 requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York State
- Expertise in NYC construction regulations and permitting processes
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and BIM technologies
- Proven track record of managing projects over $50M in value
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineering teams
- LEED AP certification preferred
