Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including bridges, transit systems, and municipal facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and regulatory compliance (Caltrans, OSHA)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Develop sustainable solutions aligned with LEED and California Green Building Standards
- Coordinate with architects, environmental consultants, and government agencies
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies for new development projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience with infrastructure projects
- PE license in California or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS) and BIM tools
- Demonstrated expertise in seismic design and California building codes
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through project lifecycle
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations and report writing
