Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software
- Manage project lifecycles from conception through to completion, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental specialists, and construction managers
- Develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges and sustainability initiatives
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, cost estimates, and bid proposals
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $10M in value
- Strong understanding of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
- Experience with BIM/CIM implementation in infrastructure projects
