Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of transportation infrastructure (highways, bridges, interchanges)
- Oversee site development projects including grading, drainage, and utility coordination
- Manage project lifecycle from conceptual design through construction phase
- Perform hydraulic modeling and stormwater management system design
- Prepare engineering reports, cost estimates, and regulatory compliance documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Collaborate with architects, environmental consultants, and government agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with TxDOT and FEMA compliance standards
- Strong project management and client communication skills
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects
- Certification in LEED or sustainable design practices preferred
