Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of complex infrastructure projects including high-rise buildings, transportation networks, and water management systems
- Conduct structural analysis using BIM tools and ensure compliance with Singapore's Building Construction Authority (BCA) standards
- Lead site investigations and feasibility studies for land development projects
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar contracts
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery
- Develop sustainable construction methodologies to minimize environmental impact
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 8 years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent recognized by Singapore's Professional Engineers Board
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (STAAD Pro, ETABS) and BIM platforms (Revit, Civil 3D)
- Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects in urban environments
- Deep understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and soil mechanics
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's building codes and construction regulations
- Exceptional project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
