Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including MRT extensions, coastal protection systems, and smart city initiatives
- Oversee project lifecycle from feasibility studies to commissioning, ensuring compliance with Singapore's Building Construction Authority (BCA) standards
- Conduct structural analysis using industry-standard software (ETABS, SAP2000, Plaxis)
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities
- Implement sustainable engineering practices to achieve Green Mark Platinum certification
- Develop project budgets and schedules while maintaining strict cost control measures
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical challenges during construction phase
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in large-scale civil infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent Singapore PE registration
- Proven expertise in geotechnical engineering and structural design for high-rise developments
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's building codes and regulatory frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Civil 3D) and project management tools
- Excellent communication skills with experience leading client presentations
- Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget constraints
