Responsibilities
- Design and oversee execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through all project phases from conceptualization to completion
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations (TxDOT, FEMA) and sustainability standards
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed engineering solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients, contractors, and government agencies
- Implement BIM technology for project modeling and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record managing projects exceeding $10M
- Strong understanding of geotechnical and environmental engineering principles
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
