Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex electrical power distribution systems for utility-scale projects.
- Conduct load flow analysis, short-circuit studies, and arc flash assessments using ETAP or SKM.
- Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle from conceptual design through construction and commissioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate renewable energy sources into existing grids.
- Mentor junior engineers and perform rigorous technical reviews of electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Ensure all designs comply with NEC, IEEE, and local utility regulatory standards.
- Develop innovative strategies to improve power efficiency and reduce carbon footprints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in power systems, industrial controls, or renewable infrastructure.
- Expertise in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, or Revit MEP.
- Deep understanding of high-voltage and medium-voltage equipment, including switchgear and transformers.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high degree of technical aptitude.
