Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems and robotic components.
- Perform structural and thermal FEA analysis to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics, sensors, and software into mechanical assemblies.
- Create comprehensive 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks/CATIA.
- Oversee rapid prototyping and coordinate with manufacturing teams for transition to production.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
- Manage engineering change orders (ECOs) and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or CATIA preferred).
- Strong background in GD&T and manufacturing processes (CNC, Injection Molding, Additive Manufacturing).
- Proven experience with FEA and simulation tools (ANSYS or equivalent).
- Experience with motion control systems or electromechanical integration is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical projects.
