Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including bridges, tunnels, and urban transit systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project milestones
- Ensure compliance with NYC Building Code, DOT regulations, and LEED certification standards
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for complex civil projects
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable urban infrastructure challenges
- Maintain client relationships and serve as technical advisor throughout project lifecycles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with PE license (New York State)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $50M in value
- Deep knowledge of NYC construction regulations and permitting processes
- Certification in LEED AP or equivalent sustainability credential preferred
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior engineers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
