Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of major infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for multi-disciplinary teams
- Perform hydraulic modeling and structural calculations using industry-standard software
- Prepare detailed construction documents and specifications for client approvals
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies (TxDOT, FEMA, USACE) for compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality reviews of deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with transportation infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal engineering codes and standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- LEED AP certification preferred
