Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and execution of large-scale civil engineering projects including MRT extensions, waterfront developments, and smart city infrastructure
- Conduct structural analysis and feasibility studies using BIM tools (Revit, Auto Civil 3D)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for concurrent projects
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Building Authority (BCA) regulations and sustainability standards
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative innovation in cross-functional teams
- Develop tender documents and negotiate with contractors/suppliers
- Implement risk mitigation strategies for complex geotechnical challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Singapore's construction sector
- Professional Engineer (PE) accreditation from Singapore's Professional Engineers Board
- Expertise in structural design, geotechnical engineering, and project management
- Proficiency in BIM software and Singapore's CAD standards
- Strong track record of delivering projects exceeding SGD 50M
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Knowledge of Singapore's Green Mark certification process
