Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation while ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new development opportunities
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams of architects, environmental specialists, and contractors
- Implement sustainable design principles and BIM modeling technologies
- Oversee quality control processes and resolve technical challenges during construction phases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure projects
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated success managing projects over $20M in value
- Strong understanding of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Experience with LEED certification and sustainable infrastructure practices
