Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of structural systems for high-rise buildings and transportation infrastructure
- Oversee construction documentation and compliance with NYC Building Code and ASCE standards
- Coordinate with MEP, geotechnical, and landscape architects for integrated project delivery
- Perform hydraulic modeling and stormwater management system design
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communications
- Conduct site investigations and forensic engineering analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license in New York State
- 8+ years of experience in structural design and construction management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit Structure, and ETABS
- Experience with NYC DOB submission processes and UL/ULC compliance
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation methodologies
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- Proven track record on projects >$50M in value
