Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction phase
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (TxDOT, FEMA, etc.)
- Utilize BIM software and AutoCAD for precision modeling and documentation
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical challenges in real-time
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and foster innovation in sustainable practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- 8+ years of experience in civil infrastructure design and project delivery
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM modeling software
- Proven track record with TxDOT and municipal project approvals
- Strong expertise in geotechnical analysis and structural design
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving and client management abilities
