Responsibilities
- Oversee design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including bridges, highways, and urban developments
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and feasibility studies
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation using advanced scheduling tools
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations including OSHA and environmental standards
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and government agencies to resolve technical challenges
- Develop innovative sustainable design solutions using BIM and 3D modeling software
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews of deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in infrastructure project delivery
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required (California preferred)
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record managing projects exceeding $50M in construction value
- Deep knowledge of seismic design principles and California building codes
- Strong leadership skills with experience directing cross-functional teams
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
