Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians during project execution
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering regulations and safety standards
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for new developments
- Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Coordinate with municipal authorities and stakeholders for permit approvals and compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews of technical deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with TxDOT and FEMA project requirements
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience leading sustainable infrastructure projects (LEED certification a plus)
