Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory agencies (TxDOT, FEMA)
- Develop cost-effective solutions while adhering to ADA, OSHA, and local building codes
- Conduct site inspections and ensure project compliance with safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation
- Stay current with emerging technologies in sustainable construction and BIM modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in hydraulic modeling (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS) and geotechnical analysis
- Proven track record of managing projects over $10M
- Strong proficiency in MS Project and Primavera P6
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project teams
