Responsibilities
- Lead design and oversight of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation using advanced BIM software
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental specialists)
- Develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges in Gulf Coast environments
- Ensure project alignment with LEED and sustainable development principles
- Prepare detailed technical reports, permit applications, and client presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in infrastructure design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and geotechnical analysis software
- Demonstrated success managing $5M+ infrastructure projects
- Deep understanding of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineering teams
- Certification in sustainable infrastructure design (LEED AP or equivalent) highly desirable
