Responsibilities
- Lead the design and planning of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, water supply systems, and other infrastructure.
- Conduct site investigations, analyze data, and prepare detailed engineering reports and specifications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and construction managers.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Review and approve construction plans, and monitor project progress to ensure quality and timely completion.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.), and industry standards.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
