Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of civil engineering projects, from concept to completion.
- Oversee site supervision, ensuring all construction activities adhere to strict safety regulations and design specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and project managers.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, reports, and cost estimates using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Manage client relationships, conducting regular progress meetings and presentations.
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Chartered status - MICE is highly desirable).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in civil design and construction management within the UK.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong proficiency in CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation).
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Deep understanding of UK Building Regulations, Eurocodes, and health and safety legislation.
