Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for multiple concurrent projects
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including FEMA and TCEQ standards
- Coordinate with architects, environmental consultants, and government agencies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design deliverables
- Develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical and construction challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing projects >$50M in value
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT, FEMA, and OSHA regulations
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Experience with BIM/CIM implementation in transportation projects
- Excellent communication skills and client relationship management abilities
