Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including bridges, highways, and water treatment facilities
- Perform complex structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar contracts
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (architects, environmental consultants, government agencies)
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering standards (ILDOT, OSHA)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable infrastructure challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience with infrastructure projectsProfessional Engineer (PE) license in Illinois
- Expertise in structural design, hydraulic modeling, and construction management
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and geospatial analysis tools
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
