Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables while maintaining compliance with local and federal regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, environmental specialists, and construction managers
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and feasibility studies
- Develop comprehensive construction documentation including plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- PE (Professional Engineer) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and civil engineering software suites
- Demonstrated experience managing projects exceeding $10M in value
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT, FEMA, and ADA compliance standards
- Excellent written communication skills for client reporting and proposal development
