Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale transportation and structural projects
- Oversee construction site operations ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and regulatory bodies
- Develop cost-effective solutions for complex geotechnical challenges
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and permit documentation
- Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance and career development
- Utilize BIM/CIM technologies for project modeling and analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure and transportation projects
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and structural analysis software
- Proven track record with municipal permitting processes
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Experience leading projects exceeding $50M in value
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
