Responsibilities
- Design and oversee infrastructure projects including MRT extensions, coastal protection systems, and sustainable urban drainage networks
- Lead site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and structural feasibility studies
- Develop detailed engineering plans, cost estimates, and construction documentation
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies (BCA, LTA) to ensure compliance with Singapore's stringent engineering standards
- Implement BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows for project visualization and clash detection
- Manage contractor relationships and resolve on-site technical challenges
- Drive sustainability initiatives through green infrastructure integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Master's specialization in Structural/Geotechnical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in large-scale civil infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration with the Singapore Board of Engineers
- Expertise in Singapore's BC/DC codes, CP5 standards, and PUB guidelines
- Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, Revit Structure, and PLAXIS software
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding SGD 50M in value
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineering teams
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status preferred
