Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Conduct advanced hydraulic modeling and structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets exceeding $10M while ensuring compliance with TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental scientists, contractors) during all project phases
- Develop comprehensive construction documentation and oversee quality control during implementation
- Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance and professional development planning
- Present project proposals to municipal boards and stakeholders with persuasive technical presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with PE license required (Texas registration)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in transportation or municipal infrastructure projects
- Expert proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record managing projects with budgets over $5M
- Advanced knowledge of TxDOT standards, FEMA guidelines, and local permitting processes
- Strong leadership experience with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills in complex geotechnical and hydraulic challenges
