Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Conduct advanced structural analysis using BIM/CAD tools to ensure compliance with ASCE and TxDOT standards
- Manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians through project lifecycles
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable urban development and climate resilience
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and quality assurance protocols
- Collaborate with municipal agencies and stakeholders for regulatory approvals
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in transportation or water resources engineering
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing $10M+ infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with Houston's municipal codes and permitting processes
- Strong analytical skills with FEMA floodplain modeling experience
- LEED AP certification highly preferred
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication abilities
