Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and transit systems
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and feasibility studies
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and ADA regulations
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor junior engineers and implement quality control protocols
- Develop innovative solutions for complex structural challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license in Texas with 8+ years of progressive experience
- Expertise in structural design software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS)
- Proven track record of managing $10M+ infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of seismic design and load analysis
- Certification in LEED or sustainable infrastructure practices
- Experience with public-private partnerships (P3) projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
