Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight for large-scale infrastructure projects including transportation networks and water systems
- Perform complex structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental specialists, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering regulations and standards
- Prepare detailed technical reports, cost estimates, and project documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Develop sustainable design solutions for urban resilience projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering
- PE (Professional Engineer) license required
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling and geotechnical analysis
- Proven track record managing projects over $5M in value
- Experience with LEED certification and sustainable design principles
- Strong knowledge of Colorado DOT and municipal regulations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
