Responsibilities
- Lead the design and supervision of major civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct detailed site surveys and structural analysis to develop innovative engineering solutions.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project objectives are met.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the design team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record in infrastructure or structural design.
- BEng (Hons) or MEng degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Chartered status (MICE) or working towards chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
- Proficient in industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla Structures.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
